Pastor Williams was the 9th pastor at the HOPE SDA Church in Bloomfield, CT. As a chartered member of the HOPE family and as my pastor, I consider him a profoundly inspiring pastor whose sermons reflected his nonjudgmental viewpoints regarding women in ministry, homosexuality, youth, and effective church service among other things. His unwavering dedication to empowering our young people has significantly increased their interest in church involvement, not just within our church community but beyond. While working towards receiving my Senior Youth(SYL) Training certification, I was granted permission by Ms. Natalie Noble, SYL TRAINING coordinator, to proceed with training the African American history portion of the curriculum. Pastor Williams undertook this task with exemplary dedication, inspiring me to replicate his training methodologies. Having successfully completed the program, I remain committed to duplicating his exemplary training and teaching methods. It is my fervent hope and prayer that we will continue to be uplifted by his extraordinary sermons and exceptional leadership training, and I look forward to his ongoing guidance as my forever pastor; Dr. Stephen L. Williams.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

About three years ago, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Pastor Williams. My first impression was that he was a pastor who was approachable and relatable. Now, after serving with him in ministry at Shiloh, I can confidently say that he is an extraordinary pastor. He demonstrates a deep commitment to the Lord's work, balanced with a genuine dedication to his family and his congregation. He always made time to listen, to offer guidance, and even to engage in a friendly game of chess. Though I will miss his presence dearly, I am thankful that he is only a phone call away. I extend my heartfelt gratitude for his insightful advice, his meaningful participation in my wedding, and the significant trust he placed in me. His ministry has had a lasting impact on my life."
